• Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email, and chosen password (stored as a bcrypt hash).
• Listing information: If you list an agency or freelancer, we collect business information you submit.
• Lead matching information: If you submit a Get Matched request, we collect your project details and contact information.
• Newsletter subscribers: Email address and source.
• Usage data: Standard server logs, anonymized analytics, and aggregate usage data.
• Cookies: Session cookie for login state, analytics cookie if you accept the cookie banner.

How we use your information

• To operate and maintain the directory and your account.
• To deliver matched leads to listed agencies (with your consent).
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing).
• To send the weekly newsletter (only if you opt in).
• To improve the service through aggregate usage analytics.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share lead matching information with anyone except the agencies you are matched with.
• We do not run third-party advertising networks that profile users across the web.

Cookies

We use a session cookie required for login and an optional analytics cookie that loads only after you accept the cookie banner.

Your rights

• You can access, correct, or delete your account at any time from your dashboard.
• You can unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link in any email.
• You can request full data deletion by emailing privacy@theaeohub.com — we respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Closed accounts and their data are purged within 90 days unless legally required to retain.

Children

The AEO Hub is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
